Product Introduction
Simpler operation, higher cost-performance ratio microscope
A compact, high-performance, cost-effective, durable, and ergonomically designed inverted microscope
The ECLIPSE MA100 is a compact inverted microscope designed for reflected light observation using brightfield or simple polarized light illumination.
With its compact footprint, rugged construction, simple operation, and exceptional Nikon optics, the MA100 is the ideal benchtop solution for metallographic sample inspection, electronic component examination, failure analysis, materials science, and quality control applications.
Stage
Stable operation even with heavy specimens
Newly developed stage with exceptional durability
Nikon's newly developed MA-SR rectangular stage for the MA100. The three-plate structure enhances stability and durability, enabling observation of heavier specimens without removal from resin mounts. Specimens can be placed directly on the stage for viewing.
CFI60
CFI60 optical system ensures sharp, clear observation
Nikon's patented CFI60 optical system offers higher numerical aperture and extended working distance. The CFI60 LU optical system delivers bright, high-contrast, high-resolution images. The MA100 features a built-in image port, making it ideal for digital imaging. The integrated objective turret accommodates up to five objective lenses, enabling precise observation at various magnifications.
Aperture Diaphragm
Standard Aperture Diaphragm
Illumination
Standard aperture diaphragms are available to flexibly control image brightness and depth of field.
Reflector
Quickly determine objective magnification accuracy.
A mirror mounted beneath the ECLIPSE MA100 stage allows users to easily check objective magnification. Users can now effortlessly verify the objective lens type and inspect specimen positioning without needing to look under the stage.
Polarizer / Analyzer
Simplified polarized light observation via a linked polarizer/analyzer mechanism
Users can easily perform reflected polarized light observation with the MA-P/A Po1 kit. A single simple operation places both the polarizer and analyzer into the optical path. The polarizer rotates 360°, allowing users to set an optimal polarization direction for specimen observation.
Specimens suitable for polarized light observation include: plastics, films, metals, contaminants, chemicals, strain testing materials, glass, and other materials.
